Getting started

It takes a few minutes to go from signing up to an Agent your customers can talk to. You can do every step by talking to Kriya, or by hand in the console. Everything Kriya changes is also shown on screen, where you can edit it yourself.

When it’s your turn in early access, you get an email inviting you to sign up. Sign up with that email address.

A short chat with Kriya sets up your Organization. You tell Kriya whether it’s a business or just for you. For a business, Kriya asks for:

  • its name
  • what it does
  • its locations
  • its website, and a phone number or email for customers
  • the web address for its Public page.

Kriya asks what your business needs, then sets up your Agent: its name, what it does and how it speaks. From the start, your Agent answers from your Business profile and your locations.

You can start with one sentence, such as “I run a hair salon with two stylists, open Tuesday to Saturday”. Kriya asks for the rest it needs, such as your hours, your services and what people usually ask.

In the Test chat, you talk to your Agent as a customer would. Nothing in the Test chat is remembered, and nothing reaches real customers. Tell Kriya what to change, then try again.

When you’re happy with your Agent, publish it. Publishing makes a numbered Version, and that’s the Version your customers talk to.

You can keep editing the Draft without changing the live Version. You can also publish an earlier Version again at any time.

6. Put your Agent where your customers are

  • Public page: turn it on and share its link.
  • Web widget: paste its code into your website to put a chat bubble in the corner.
  • WhatsApp: connect your business’s WhatsApp number.

Your Agent is now live, and you can read every Conversation it has in the console.
